Telecom Account Specialist are responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all service-related inquiries and needs.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of a diverse range of telecommunications products and services, effectively presenting and explaining their features and benefits to potential customers.
  • Assisting the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sales follow-up, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to optimize client accounts by recommending additional services or upgrades that align with their evolving communication needs and business objectives.
  • Addressing and resolving client issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex problems to the appropriate internal teams when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting basic market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences, contributing insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and account details within the CRM system, generating regular reports on progress and performance.
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow Telecom Account Specialists  and other internal departments, including technical support, billing, and marketing, to ensure a cohesive approach to client service and sales initiatives.
 

Telecom Account Specialist need to possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • A genuine desire to learn, adapt, and grow within the telecommunications industry.
